The Brody Theater is a long-standing improvised theater and comedy institution in Portland, Oregon. It's sad but true--we are closing our doors in late November, having decided not to renew the lease on our building. More info will follow, but we have a month of special shows coming up to celebrate the Brody and everyone who has made it so special since 1996. PLEASE NOTE: the Oregonian published a piece online on Sunday about our closing that is COMPLETELY inaccurate and untrue...because all they did was cut and paste a 12-year old article that was published when we lost the lease on our original space in 2006. They did not contact the Brody or anyone from it to ask what is really up. I don't know whether they intend to put this lazy and misleading garbage in their print issue, but you could comment on their article or contact them and let them know if you care about the Brody and about responsible journalism.
