Hello all. Dame has danced through her last year. We will close after service on 12/31/25.
We are grateful for all of the collaborators, staff, wine peeps, and guests who filled the restaurant with humor, spirit, creativity, curiosity, and knowledge.
Thank you to our regulars to rode the waves of change and embraced it. Thank you to our guests who showed us grace when we had rough nights.
I also want to apologize to anyone who I couldn’t or didn’t show up for properly, especially over the last couple years as I stepped back from service.
Thank you to the regulars who made our staff feel like they had someone who was invested in their personhood and growth, who showed up to repair a broken window, who brought in gifts after travels away.
We worked with people so talented it took your breath away — and had staff struggling so hard it broke your heart. Chefs and cooks working incredibly hard day in and day out…guests never knowing how much it took — to give.
We were witness to many marriages, the deaths of Henry, Star, Lauro, and births of new loves (little man Ilario). What strikes me the most is the amount of love that it took to create and sustain this place — and the amount of love that flowed through it regularly.
For everyone who worked here, I am forever rooting you on.
