Join us at the Urban Gleaners space this Sunday, where Joel will be cooking with his friends Carlo Lamagna from Magna Kusina (https://www.magnapdx.com/) , and Gabriella Martinez from Libre! (https://librepdx.com/) This dinner series is a fundraiser to support the Urban Gleaners. If you are unfamiliar with this non-profit organization, they are working to limit food waste and distribute healthy food for people who need it. For this dinner, Joel, Carlo, and Gabi have collaborated on a menu featuring many gleaned and repurposed food items, to showcase what you can do with food that might otherwise be thrown away. They'll be hosting a communal family style dinner with cocktails and wines to go along with everything. Tickets are being sold on a sliding scale, so you can pay what you can to help contribute to this cause.

Kris and Joel first worked together many years ago at Park Kitchen where they instantly connected. They’ve maintained their strong friendship throughout the years as they’ve gone on to helm many acclaimed restaurants, eventually both opening their own lauded establishments. Kris recently won a James Beard award for Outstanding Chef in the Mountain region. His food at KIN is artistic and inspired, we’re excited to bring his creativity to this special night at L’Orange. Expect seasonal vegetables, vibrant plating, local meat, and warm service from the staff at L’Orange.
Friends in Town, a dining series by OpenTable x Visa, allows guests to experience collaborations between two chefs from different cities creating unique, limited time menus. Access to tickets will be available for eligible Visa credit cards through the Visa Dining Collection on OpenTable. Eligible cards include any active U.S., Mexico, or Canada-issued Visa consumer and small business credit card. *Terms and conditions apply.
Join us for a special evening as these two chefs combine their passion and expertise to create a unique and unforgettable menu.
Just like with regular service days at L’Orange, you’ll be able to select which room you’d like to dine in. This dinner will be a single seating with reception starting at 6:30pm and dinner service beginning at 7:00pm.
For this exclusive dinner we will be unfortunately unable to accommodate any dietary restrictions, so if you have concerns please reach out before purchasing your ticket.
TICKETS ARE $250 per person, which includes the 9 courses and either a wine pairing or non-alcohol beverage pairing, 20% gratuity will be added on top of ticket price.
