Big things are happening at Clayton’s Meat Market!
Clayton’s Meat Market - Rockport is officially on track. Lease is secure. Permits are being pulled. Equipment is being ordered.
Clayton’s Meat Market is bringing our high quality products to Rockport. Our world famous tumbled ribeyes. Gigantic popper selection. Preseasoned chicken and pork options. Stuffed chicken and pork options. The Best Stop boudin. And old school, made the way your grandad did jerky and dry sausage, none of that gas station cooked stuff.
What else are we bringing? Since you asked. Full service meat counter. Cutting and packing fresh steaks in front of you. Ground beef and breakfast sausage, ground daily. Plenty of other fresh options. Deli counter with deli meats and cheeses, making sandwiches to order.
What about processing? Yeah, we will be accepting deer/game for processing. Bone in, boneless, field dressed, we will take it in Rockport, we won’t make you drive to Portland!
Oh on the processing note, we are closing Odem, but are working on a drop off pick up location for processing in the calallen area. Will announce it once wheels are in motion.
Our ambitious goal for Rockport is to be open by Labor Day.

As we get closer to an opening, we will be hiring. Customer service skills will be a priority for any potential hire. If you are interested, you should speak with Michael or Clayton in person.
