A last farewell and thank you to ALL of The Dock staff past and present over the last 9 years, especially Kate and Mike! And as my daughter posted a week ago “thank you to each and every single person who ever ate at The Dock and supported this gem”. We went out with a bang last night and the love and gratitude and sales and patience (!) you showed us this past two weeks was simply amazing and overwhelming! Lastly, thank you to our kids and grandkids for always being willing to make everything we do a family project ! We may have closed the restaurant, but we are still very much invested in Port Orchard and Kitsap AND are quite confident the restaurant will reopen by another family! Thank you! ❤️❤️

Many of you have seen this post, and thank you so much for the touching, warm and positive responses to our restaurant, our staff, our family and Steve and I- means the world to us!
We don’t close until end of day August 31st, so come in and see us! Open today/Wednesday and tomorrow Thursday 11am-8pm, 11am to 10pm on Friday and Saturday, 11am to 8pm Sunday, closed Monday and Tuesday and then same hours next week!

We’re sad to share the news that our Dock Bar & Eatery will be closing. Our last day will be Saturday August 31st.
This was a difficult decision to make, ESPECIALLY in respect of our employees, but also regarding the other tenants in the Market, downtown and our community.
On September 1st it will be 9 years since we took over this restaurant, we did so to support the struggling downtown community and for the future of the Port Orchard Market. While the Market has seen tenants come and go, our downtown has become more fully occupied and busy…but the current economy is very hard on small businesses, especially restaurants - including ours. We can no longer afford to sustain The Dock, but we are hoping to find another interested party to take the space.
SO many or our friends and family have supported us since day one. THANK YOU. AND we have made SO many new friends through our customers and staff. This has been a family affair, all five of our children and one of our grandchildren have worked at The Dock in some capacity. It’s going to be hard for our younger grandchildren to accept that Grandma’s restaurant is no longer, but what great memories! We’ve hosted numerous family celebrations, weddings, receptions memorials, birthday parties and many, many community events and fundraisers at The Dock and the PO Market –and enjoyed every single minute of it.
We hope to spend some extra time at the restaurant these next two weeks to greet and thank our customers. We hope you will make a point to stop in and have one more Dock meal and drink! And we continue to encourage you to PLEASE support small businesses and downtown Port Orchard – we’ll see you at some of our favorite PO restaurants in the future.

In the meantime… don’t forget to come in for your favorites… open until 8pm . Closed this Monday and Tuesday, open again Wednesday through Sunday again, closed next Monday Tuesday and then open Wednesday through Saturday 31st- our last day. ❤️

We are open! And most of our family is here!
We are closing (in case you did not see our post on Friday 😥😞) but not until August 31st. Still closed Mondays and Tuesdays! Come see The Dock gang! Open until 8pm tonight/Sunday, 8PM Wednesday and Thursdays, until 10PM Friday/Saturdays.

We are very humbled and proud to be a part of the Lowe's Home Improvement Hometowns program - Polaris / Port Orchard was 1 of 100 Hometowns that were selected by Lowe’s to recieve a grant. Lowe’s has granted our foundation $50K+ for exterior work on the theater and we are thrilled to partner with the Port Orchard Lowe’s to get this work done! ONLY 2 projects in WA state were selected for the Hometowns grant! 💪
