✍️ Thierry Henry has reacted to reports linking Sandro Tonali with Tottenham Hotspur:

🗣️ “This would be a huge statement of intent from Tottenham. For years, people have questioned the club’s ambition, but a move for Sandro Tonali would send a clear message across Europe.

We’re not talking about a young prospect here. We’re talking about one of the finest midfielders in world football, a player who dictates the rhythm of matches and elevates the level of everyone around him.

What stands out most isn’t Tottenham’s interest, but their willingness to compete with the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal for a player of his calibre.

That tells me something has changed. This isn’t a club thinking about finishing fourth anymore. This is a club looking to challenge for major honours.

And if Roberto De Zerbi lands Tonali, it’s the kind of signing that instantly changes perceptions of Tottenham.

Pedro Porro new deal at Spurs has now been confirmed by the club. Here's what Roberto De Zerbi has had to say...

🗣️ Van de Ven on relegation battle: "I didn't even go out at one point. I thought do I actually deserve to do fun things? Maybe you're looking at it in the extreme, but you want to turn things around at all costs.

"De Zerbi literally said to me: 'I'm going to need you very badly in this period and I'm going to have to rely on you a lot.' I had to become a leader even more, even though I am still young.

"When we were safe? It literally felt like I was a hundred kilos lighter. All the stress was gone right away." 🤍💪

Mohammed Kudus is set to return fresh for the new season.

It had been rumoured that Kudus' injury was worse than originally feared after talk of surgery would sideline the player for another 6-8 months but that's since been squashed with fresh reports claiming he will be ready for the new season with Spurs.

Big news & massive for Roberto De Zerbi who's a huge fan of the player & infact agreed a deal to sign the player while at Brighton before it collapsed in the final stages.

(🏅) 📰 Alasdair Gold | 🩺 Dan Lewindon, former England physio, who joined Spurs from the City Group in February, is the man tasked with an overhaul of the way Tottenham deal with their injuries and player performance.

ℹ️ De Zerbi is believed to have already struck up a good relationship with Lewindon, with the pair known to regularly chat about the improvements that need to be made to the club's performance and medical departments to bring them in line with the world's top clubs.
