New Chapter!

Teresa and I truly miss all of you, the conversations, the laughter, and the joy of serving our community at Good Time Charlie’s.

While we’ve stepped away from running a full-time restaurant, our passion for great food and bringing people together hasn’t changed.

That’s why we started Part-Time Charlie’s, our fully licensed mobile kitchen.

👉 We’re looking to bring back our Friday Night Fish Fry at places like:
• VFW, Moose, Eagles, American Legion
• Local bars or private clubs
• Community groups & non-profits

We’re looking to partner with one location for a consistent weekly Friday night fish fry.

We bring everything, the kitchen, the setup, and the food.

New Chapter!

To all of our Good Time Charlie’s friends, Teresa and I have missed your company and wanted to share something with you.

Even though it’s been a little over a year since we sold Good Time Charlie’s Bar and Grill, the truth is we miss it and more than anything, we miss all of you.

We miss the conversations, the laughter, the familiar faces, and the simple joy of cooking for people we truly cared about.

Good Time Charlie’s was never just a business to us. It felt like family. The friendships and memories we shared there will always mean the world to us.

As much as we loved it, at this stage in our lives, running a full-time restaurant is a little much.

But one thing hasn’t changed; we still love feeding people and bringing folks together over a good meal.

So we’re excited to share something new with you.

Although we sold Good Time Charlie’s Bar and Grill and the restaurant location is no longer operating, we’re proud to carry that same spirit forward through our mobile kitchen, Part-Time Charlie’s

Teresa and I now have a fully licensed mobile kitchen, and we’ve started a new venture called Part-Time Charlie’s.

The name fits perfectly it allows us to keep doing what we love, but in a way that better fits with this stage of our lives.

We want to bring back our good old-fashioned Friday night fish fry.

Many of you remember our Friday Fish Fry at Good Time Charlie’s; well we would love the chance to bring back that tradition again.

We’re currently looking for places where we could set up for a weekly dinner night, such as:

• Private club
• Small bar or neighborhood tavern
• VFW, American Legion, Moose, Eagles, or similar clubs
• Non-profit organizations
• Community groups that enjoy getting together for a good dinner

We’ll bring our fully equipped mobile kitchen and provide a nice dinner including everything, the dishes, the silverware and most importantly the delicious food!

Hello everyone, it’s Jim and Teresa. Although our doors have closed, we can’t help but think about all the wonderful memories and amazing customers we’ve had over the years. We miss you all!

But today, there’s some exciting news in the neighborhood! Junior & Rosie’s Neighborhood Cafe & Grille is doing a soft opening. I think they had something in the paper, so you may not know if they’re open, but trust me, they’re there today!

We just went there for breakfast and it was great! Their Western omelet and rye toast were so good that we dug in before even thinking of taking a picture.

Their prices are reasonable and the portions are huge, and the atmosphere is very inviting. A huge shoutout to Rosie, Junior, and Crystal for all the hard work they’re putting in. The place looks amazing, and the food speaks for itself. If you’re looking for a great breakfast or lunch and maybe dinner today, head on over and check them out!

Go show them some love and tell them Jim and Teresa from Good Time Charlie’s sent you. Let’s keep supporting local businesses that bring heart and soul to our community.

It is with a heavy heart that Teresa and I are announcing we have sold Good Time Charlie’s Bar and Grill. This decision was one of the hardest we’ve ever had to make, and it came with a lot of soul-searching. To all of our customers—our friends—you’ve been the heart and soul of this place, and we will miss each and every one of you more than words can express.

While this wasn’t what we truly wanted to do, we had to consider the opportunity presented to us. Timing is everything, and after taking everything into account, we felt it was the right choice for us at this point in our lives.

We’re leaving the business in good hands. The new owners are experienced restaurateurs who already run a successful local restaurant. They have plans to open seven days a week, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a diverse menu. We believe they will bring fresh ideas and great energy to the community, and we hope you’ll support them the same way you supported us.

Teresa and I almost feel like we owe you an apology for closing. We know many of you loved what we were doing here, and truthfully, so did we. Good Time Charlie’s was more than a business to us—it was a family.

We are so grateful for all the memories, laughter, and friendships we’ve shared with you. You’ll always hold a special place in our hearts.

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Teresa and I regret to inform you that, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we have had to address a highly sensitive personal matter that arose over the weekend. This situation has consumed all of our time this week, and despite our best efforts, it has prevented us from preparing the restaurant to open as planned.

As a result, we will be unable to open today (Thursday), and it is unlikely that we will open on Friday or Saturday this week. We want to assure you that this closure is temporary and applies only to this week.

We are always mindful of our customers’ time and would never want you to make plans to visit us only to find out we weren’t open. That’s why we felt it was best to communicate this to you as directly as possible.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. As is the case with any true neighborhood bar and grill, we think of you as more than customers – we think of you as family and friends – and we appreciate your understanding and support during this time.

We’ll keep you updated and look forward to welcoming you back soon.
