It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of my uncle, Mom’s (Sandy’s) brother, Floyd Brown. Floyd passed away on June 9th at 79 years old.
Floyd was truly one of Louisiana’s greatest musicians. His talent, passion, and love for music touched so many lives and left behind a legacy that will never be forgotten. But beyond the stage and the music, he was so much more — a wonderful husband, dad, brother, uncle, and friend.
Our hearts are broken, but we are so thankful for the years of memories, laughter, music, and love we were blessed to share with him. Those moments will be cherished forever.
Rest easy, Uncle Floyd. Your songs will live on in the hearts of everyone who loved you. ❤️🎶
A Celebration of Life honoring Floyd will be held at a later date.
