This morning I got some news that breaks my heart. Phil Kettler passed away, Phil was a regular at Big Jim’s. When I took over I met Phil. Not sure I make it through the first couple years without him. He had his own key cause I couldn’t be trusted to get there by 3 and I got tired of him yelling at me for being late lol. The amount of hours we spent shooting the s**t just me and him I can’t begin to count. He had the quickest wit I’ve ever seen. He would say things that would go over my head then 2 minutes later it would hit and I’d be in tears laughing. He made an impression on me that will resonate forever. I was lucky enough to call him a friend. Our hearts go out to his family.
