Well that was a shock to the system after 2 weeks off.
4.15 alarm 👎🏻
5.30 leave the house - dark 😓
Mini me sidekick back to school so noone to annoy and rage bait me all day 🙌🏻

But we are back open in the usual spot, although we will be closing slightly earlier today at 1.30 so I can get to an appointment!

Looking forward to seeing all my lovely customers again 😊 (whilst I sit here totally searching for my next holiday 😁)

After an EXTREMELY lengthy probation period, I’m pleased to announce that Chris has finally secured a permanent position within the business.

His previous roles include:

🔧 Head Engineer
🛠️ Unpaid Fixer of Absolutely Everything
📞 24/7 Emergency Call-Out Service
🚨 Chief Responder to “BABE, IT’S NOT WORKING!!”

His dedication has been outstanding.

So yesterday, I decided to reward his years of unpaid labour by…

MARRYING HIM. 💍😂

And yes, his role as my engineer and unpaid fixer at all hours actually made it into my wedding vows, as did the bloody generator 🤣

Unfortunately, marriage does NOT improve his employment package:

💛 AND THAT’S ME DONE… ALMOST! 💛

After today, mugShots is closing for two weeks because apparently I’ve got something fairly important to do… I’M GETTING MARRIED! 👰🏼‍♀️💍🥂

There are still a couple of events squeezed in amongst the wedding madness, so you may spot the trailer out and about, but my usual pitch will be closed while I disappear off to become a Mrs! 🥰

I also just want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has popped by with cards, presents and wedding wishes. I honestly wasn’t expecting it and it’s been so incredibly lovely. 🥹💛 I really do have the best customers.

Thank you as always for supporting my little business — now I’m off to finish the last-minute wedding jobs, try not to forget anything important and, most importantly, GET MARRIED! 😂🥂

Good luck to everyone collecting their GCSE results today! 🤞🧡

Whether you absolutely smashed it, got exactly what you needed, or things didn't quite go the way you'd hoped — be proud of how far you've come.

One set of results doesn't define you or decide your future. There are always different routes to get where you want to go. 💪

So celebrate, breathe a sigh of relief that it's finally over… and maybe treat yourself to a well-earned coffee (or something iced! 🧋😆).
