***ATTENTION All Customers!***

As Emil goes through 44.5 years of items he has accumulated in the bar, it is time to give back all the deer and fish mounts, heads, and etc that were so nicely decorating the walls in the tavern.

Emil will be at I-Diehl Tap on Saturday October 15th from 8:00am -10:00am for anyone to come pick up their mounts and other belongings. If not picked up, we will have to dispose of them properly as we continue to clean out the bar. Please feel free to contact us with any questions (you can message us on Facebook).

Well ladies and gentlemen, it’s officially Emil’s last day behind the bar, and what better way to go out then on a Friday with one of his famous fish frys.

Tonight’s LAST and FINAL fish dinners include walleye, cod, grilled shrimp, or deep fried shrimp. All fish dinners come with a choice of potato (red potatoes, potato salad, or french fries), coleslaw, bread (rye or white), and a homemade dessert!

Emil and Tammy Diehl truly thank each and every one of you for an amazing 44.5 years. If you stop by today or tonight, please wish Emil well on his retirement and share stories and memories about his beloved tavern. Although he is so excited and ready for retirement, his heart will be heavy today closing the doors of this small town gem.❤️

After careful consideration, Emil and Tammy Diehl have reluctantly decided to close I-Diehl Tap, LLC after 44½ years of being in business. Our last day of operation will be July 1, 2022.

We have enjoyed meeting and being a part of so many peoples’ lives and the River Valley community. This was a very difficult decision for us, but it has been an amazing journey and business venture over the years. As hard as it is to close the doors of this well-loved small-town tavern, our hopes and dreams are that someone will take it over and love it as much as our family has.

Over the next month we hope you stop in the bar and not only enjoy a final cheeseburger or fish dinner, but more importantly share with Emil all the fond memories and stories you have of the I-Diehl Tap, LLC and wish Emil the best of luck on his retirement (mostly spending time with grandchildren and hunting of course).
