The American Wine Society (AWS) is for anyone who is interested in wine and wants to learn more about it. Our mission is the "appreciation of wine through education" and our membership includes wine lovers from novice to expert, amateur and professional winemakers, and people in all aspects of the wine trade. With AWS members in forty-five states and over 130 chapters throughout the US, we offer t

he opportunity for members to learn about wine, winemaking, and wine & food pairing - with others who share your love of the grape.

Well just thought that all our members should know, that as of January 2026 our Greater Pittston AWS Chapter is 10 years old, our inaugural meeting was held on 21 January 2016 at the Bartolai Winery that at that time was located on Rt. 92. Harding Pa., Bartolai Winery is now located at 188 N. Main St. Pittston Pa 18640.
