Adoptions #151 & #152: Buddy and Scruffy!!! Ok, this is gonna be a long one 😅 I was contacted back in January by this lovely couple who were desperate for help. Buddy, a cat that they had been feeding for 15 years, and Scruffy, a cat they'd been feeding for a year, needed a place to stay. Terry & Marilyn had been feeding and taking care of Buddy & Scruffy: they had heated houses for them on their porch, and fed them every day. Their landlord would not allow them to bring the cats inside, so they tried to make them as comfortable as they could outside. But their landlord starting making threats towards the cats, saying he was going to "get rid of them" 🤬 They called me in tears, begging me to take them in. So of course I said yes! Both cats needed neutered and both needed dentals. Buddy (who you've met at the lounge) was much more comfortable with people, while Scruffy (who you've never met) had to stay at my house because he is not as friendly. Terry and Marilyn came to visit Buddy at the lounge every weekend, and they found a new place to live that allows cats! So now both boys will be home with them forever 🫶🫶🫶
