Dear Patrons
As the saying goes, all good things must pass. After more than five dedicated years of owning and operating Bier's Pub & War Streets Brewery with my partners in crime, we have decided to close this chapter in the pursuit of a new one. While this is a bittersweet decision, and we will miss being a part of a truly vibrant neighborhood, we look forward to the adventures that lie ahead of us.
We took pride in creating a safe, cozy, neighborhood bar for our community to socialize, hang out, and become friends. We loved hand crafting small batches of unique beers, seasonal cocktails, and of course, our famous burgers to share with the all of Pittsburgh. We enjoyed the many beautiful nights of live music that brought so many diverse people through the doors and created a truly dynamic vibe in our pub. The folks we have met along this journey, the close bonds we have made with our ever evolving family of staff and neighbors, and all the memories and lessons we have acquired throughout this endeavor, will be forever appreciated and engraved in our hearts.
We thank you for supporting our dreams and our efforts for these many years, through a pandemic and beyond. Thank you to all of our customers, both near and far, for your continued patronage and support. Thank you to all of the wonderful musicians that filled the air with lovely music, and to all the fans that support live music and brought our pub to life. Thank you to our family and friends for always helping us out, through thick and thin. Most of all, thank you to all of our loyal staff that worked tirelessly to make Bier’s Pub a success. It has been an honor and a privilege to work with, and get to know so many fine people. We are eternally grateful to have had this opportunity in our lives and we will remember it forever.
Please welcome the next business that will begin its journey at 900 Western Ave, Tony’s Pub! Please continue to support our wonderful staff who will stay and transition into this new era. War Streets Brewery will also continue to live on with new owners and in a new location. We’ll leave it to them to make that announcement.
