In late 2024, we stated a goal of one day trying to expanding our community beyond Pittsburgh. Since then, we’ve traveled all around the country looking for the right place to take that leap. And as you can tell by how serious this video is, I’m really excited to say that we have found that place - and will be opening a Bottlerocket very soon in Seattle, Washington.

Bottlerocket Seattle is being built in the basement of the world famous Crocodile, which we purchased a few months ago. It was take up the combined footprint of its two shuttered venues; Madame Lou’s and the Here-After. Our hope is to return the best programming that both spaces offered, in one cohesive space - plus our own original Bottlerocket programming we’ve developed in Pittsburgh. And of course, a lot of Hot Dogs.

We expect this space to be able to welcome 400 guests for concerts, and 200 guests for seated shows - with tiered viewing areas, an expanded bar, and an intimate, old school interior.

This new space will host everything from Alt Comedy to Dance Parties, Touring and Local Bands, and Movie Screenings; just like we do every week in Pittsburgh. We’re already in touch with many of the folks who called Madame Lou’s and Here-After home for their events, and look forward to welcoming them back into the building soon.

To our Pittsburgh community; thank you sincerely for embracing our bar the way you have, and for making us a place performers from around the country actively seek out. Although this means new opportunities for our team to spread their wings, Pittsburgh will always be home. To Seattle; we can’t wait to show you everything we have planned, and to build an incredible community in Belltown like we have in Allentown.

There’s a lot more to come, so stay tuned - or you can come see for yourself in March!

This year we’re working with UCB to make the COUNTY FAIR this Sunday, August 30 BIGGER and BETTER…In addition to all of our other FREE activities and entertainment, we’ve added an improv festival to the fun!

We will have stages across Allentown prepared to host shows by our local Pittsburgh improv community, think of it as a one day mini-fest, with workshops and headliners from the wider UCB world.

Join us for some laughs watching sketch, variety, or improv all day at local ALLENTOWN venues - Shred Shed, Death Comes Lifting, Little Giant, and Dr. Tumblety’s.

Closing out a jam-packed day of comedy, UCB’s signature improv troupe ASSSSCAT joins us for TWO shows in the bar…joined by a secret guest monologist- tickets available now!

Sharpen your skills amongst all the fun by signing up for a workshop lead by UCB instructors. Learn more at bottlerocket.com/classes
