Hey everyone. Since the brewery closed I started making wood items. Most of what I have been doing are tables. I decided to start putting some of it up for sale. The page for the wood working is pretty new, but we are starting to get stuff loaded up on there. Check us out at

It has been a while since I have posted. I hope all of you are well. I miss all of you, but the changes have been productive. I will be sharing soon, and hopefully will be able to see you guys again.

Anyway, the reason for the post, I just found out that some stickers have been getting put up around town about the business that bought the building I was in. I would like to ask that whoever is doing it please stop. If you feel like a change to something should be made, please go to the person directly. Do remember it took me time to actually get the music rolling again.

Due to concerns of a possible exposure, we have decided to cancel open mic tonight. This is out of an abundance of caution and would like to remind everyone that if you’re not feeling well to stay home or get tested. Sorry for the inconvenience but peoples safety is of utmost importance to us.

We will return next week for Wednesday and our final open mic on Thursday. Cheers 🍻

While we will be continuing through the end of the year, we have just completed our final hurrah, 5 days of music and community. At the end of this weekend, I need to thank all of you who came out, all of you who played, Fran for hosting and putting the weekend together and hosting open mic, Mike, Sue, Ryan, my oldest son Aaron and the others who have worked for this place over the years, Jacob, who also hosted open mic, Vic for providing this awesome building, my partners who helped me open this place, all of you-there are too many to name. I could not have done this without any of you. Running this place has been an absolute honor, getting to know all of you, spending time in the great town of Pitman, it has all been truly amazing. I cannot thank you all enough.

For those of you with questions still, the plans for this building is that it will remain a brewery. I plan on helping with the transition and am excited for what is coming. While not running this place anymore will be hard for me, I have been working a day job as well for a while now, and I know that it is time to move on.

We do have two more open mics left, so please come out and enjoy some amazing musicians. And next year, when this place opens anew, I hope to see you all from the other side of the bar.

We have a LONG weekend ahead of us. This weekend starts out with Open Mic on Thursday from 7-10 pm (only 3 left!), Johnny Slide Band and Pocket Chocolates on Friday, And this weekend is Final Fest! An entire 2 day long music festival featuring select artists who have long been with the Human Village. The brewery will be opening at 1:00pm on Saturday and Sunday and will be closing whenever the music stops. There isn’t much time left at the brewery, but there is still fun to be had. Come stop by at some point this weekend for endless music. Cheers 🍻

It is with deep regret and surprise that I have to announce that I will be closing the Human Village. The building was sold, I will be working with the new owner through the transition process. I am excited to see what is to come and I wish him well in his endeavor, and owe more to Vic, our landlord and friend, than I can ever express.

I would like to thank everyone for their support through the years. Owning the brewery and getting to know all of you has been an amazing experience. This place has always been about the community, getting to know you all, the music, and the fun that all of us have had together. The connections and this place have both been so very special to me, but as with everything, there is a time that it comes to an end. However, open mic will be going until 12/30/21 and there will be some events during the last two months. Keep an eye on Facebook.

I love you guys and thank you for everything.
