Established in 1970, this family owned and operated little country bar, out in the middle of no where, has been serving up some of the coldest beer and wine for about 40 years. Bea if not from the bar it would be because she was born and raised here and has lived most of her 93 years of life......right here on this hill where the Bar is located. Miss Bea has dedicated most of her life and good hea

rtedness to the Bar and to the surrounding communities for several years. In the year 2010 on behalf of the State Of Louisiana, Mr Frankie Howard presented Ms Bea a certificate of dedication and accomplishment for being the oldest woman business owner/operator in the State Of Louisiana. With 4 more generations to proceed Miss Bea in life its hope full in saying that Bea's Place may be open for ANOTHER 50-75 years. But when asked by many locals,strangers or even the news casters when Miss Bea plans on giving up the Bar Business or thinking about closing the bar down ........Miss Bea simply says shes kinda like George Jones.......not until "The Grass Grows Over Me". s hopefull that maybe one dayBea's Place will When ask by many local people,
