How lucky are we to have local talent like this and get to enjoy them weekly?

Red Dog Saloon takes pride in keeping the good times rolling with local musicians and shining a light on what the real desert community has in store while you’re here.

Thank you to the Prickly Pears for always transporting us back in time with a sound and energy we won’t soon forget. Catch them at Red Dog every Wednesday during our After School Special from 3 to close, with music starting at 5pm.

The weekend has arrived and we just made some of your hard decisions easier…

Breakfast or lunch? Start with breakfast. We’re serving it from 9am to 1pm all weekend. Live music? The Joyful Process is taking the stage tonight at 7pm. And when Sunday rolls around, we’re kicking things off with Sunday Drive brunch at 11am before ending the weekend the only way we know how: H***y Tonk.

So come hungry, stay awhile, and let us take care of the rest!

Apparently traffic on Mane Street has always been a little unpredictable.

Restored scenes from On Top of Old Smoky, filmed in Pioneertown in 1953 near the Red Dog Saloon.
Back then, Mane Street was a working movie set, built for Westerns and regularly filled with actors, horses, wagons, stunt crews, and plenty of dust. Between takes, that same stretch of town became a gathering place for cast, crew, locals, and travelers passing through.
