When our owner Jill Hendrick decided to bring Pizza to Pineville WV she only wanted the best or not at all. The answer was to get the world’s best Wood Fired Pizza Oven from Good Fellas in NY city and then to go to their pizza school to learn how to make the “World’s Best Pizza” from the guys that own that title. The importance of all this preparation and carrying on the Good Fellas tradition in Pineville and Southern WV simply have to be tasted to be understood. Once you do taste our Pizza you will experience the difference that only the best Wood Fired Oven, cooking methods, and ingredients can and do make in the quality of the pizza. We use only the best ingredients to make our artisan pizza, like fresh mozzarella, imported San Marzano tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil and gourmet sauces cooked from scratch. We cook our pizzas with the old world tradition, in a real wood fired brick oven at 800 degrees that produces a flavor unlike any other. Ole Jose Grill and Cantina is located in Pineville WV, the county seat of Wyoming County, on the banks of the Guyandotte river. It may seem like a strange place for such an eclectic restaurant to be located but it made perfect sense to owner Jill Hendrick. If you know Jill you will understand that it makes perfect sense too, as she herself is eclectic. Jill’s goal in bringing Ole Jose Grill and Cantina to Pineville WV was to bring Authentic Mexican, Wood Fired Gourmet Pizza, and Homemade Italian food made with the best and freshest ingredients by hand to Southern WV.
