BABTC: My newest stage play: Truths, Tragedies and Triumphs is totally based on my actual life, from birth to now. I need eight angry, selfish, uncaring, self-indulgent Black women aged 25 - 65 to play several roles. Pay is commensurate with acting experience.

Growing up in Northwest Baltimore, I dreamed of meeting celebrities and wealthy people. As a teen, I idolized their fame, their wealth. In my adult life, I have met and even befriended several wealthy celebrities. Now that I have hobnobbed with people that I only used to see on TV or hear on the radio, I see that they really aren't, at their core beings, any different from most of us. Their money and their fame may open a few more doors, but we all have the ability to self-actualize, to become our best selves. God's blessings and His favor are bigger than our strongest aspirations. When God wants to bless you, embrace the blessing. Know that you are worthy of His blessings.

Stop Sitting on Your Talents: For the past 15 years, I have been writing scripts for, performing in, and producing several entertainment products. Because I love my city so much, I only wanted to work with local Baltimore artists, but now, I have pivoted on that idea. Recently, I spoke with Tamla Robinson (Smokey's daughter), Zeola Gaye (Marvin's sister), and Bunny Debarge about writing separate stage plays based on their families. I'm also demoing songs to be considered for Bunny Debarge's gospel album and MC Shan's comeback album, among other projects. In the past, I would run away from all of these huge challenges; but now, I feel confident enough take on these projects. Stop running from your blessings, just because you lack confidence in your God-given talents, skills, and abilities. No more procrastinating. Go get your blessings!
