2026 Night at the Races at the Polish American Citizen Club, 328 High St, Phoenixville, PA,on Saturday, March 14, 2026. Polish Club Phoenixville can be reached at 610-933-9801.

A limited number of tickets are still available for $25, which includes admission, draft beer, soda, and food.

The cost to enter a horse in a Race is $10.

Doors open at 6 pm, with the first race starting at 7 pm

Congratulations from all of us at The Polish Club in PHX To Scott Foresta on his well deserved retirement and to Chris and Mark Foresta as they continue the amazing family tradition we have always had amazing service delicious food and great working relationships with Foresta's Market looking forward to 2026!

So tonight at midnight there will be a big change at Foresta’s Market
I have worked in food service since I was 12 years old. My first job was for my Great Uncle Bill Foresta on Church Street. I only lasted two years but then went to work for Richard (Dick) Bader and his father Albert (Pete) at Bader’s Market. I was there all through junior high school till the end of my college years. I also did 3 summers at Synthane Taylor in Oaks Pa while still working at Baders on my off shifts
Tried teaching briefly after college but I went to work for my father Jack Foresta at Foresta’s Market in 1976
I have been there for 50 years with 25 of those years as the owner.
I was 4th generation but tonight the 5th generation will be taking over
My son’s Chris and Mark have been in the business since they were old enough to walk
Both Graduates of West Virginia University they decided to stay with the business and tonight they became the new owners
I want to thank all of our customers and Phoenixville and the surroundings communities that have all supported us and I know Chris and Mark will continue with the same great customer service

It is with great sadness that the Polish Club shares the passing of GARY STEC SR .Many of you remember seeing him at the club and as the former Bar Manager for many years! The officers and the staff of the Polish Club would like to offer our condolences to his family in this very difficult time. We value and appreciate everything that GARY gave to the club. He will be greatly missed.
