At dusk, LGBTQ+ businesses along 7th Avenue will place candles outside our doors in memory of Cameron Capara and Vincent “Vinny” Siqueiros, and in solidarity with Tucson’s LGBTQ+ community.

What happened this week is a painful reminder that the places we create for one another matter. Our bars, our neighborhoods, our gathering places... they are more than businesses. They are places where people come to feel known, safe, and among their own.

Tonight, we leave a light on for Cameron and Vinny.
And for each other.
