It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the passing of Dave “Big Daddy” Smith.
For 38 years, Dave was more than just the owner of this bar. He was the heart and soul of it. What started as a business became so much more than a place to grab a drink. It became a second home, a gathering place, and a place where friendships were made, stories were shared, and countless memories were created.
Over the years, Dave welcomed so many people through these doors, leaving his mark on this community in a way that will never be forgotten. To some, he was the boss. To many, he was a friend. And to all who knew him, he was Big Daddy.
Thirty-eight years is more than a lifetime of hard work. It is a legacy built on dedication, laughter, friendships, and the people who made this place what it is today.
There are no words to truly express how much he will be missed. The stories, the laughter, and the memories will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Thank you, Dave, for 38 incredible years, for the memories, and for giving so many people a place to call their own.
