In the lab last night. Came up with a new sip. I started out making a simple old fashioned for my brother. I decided to switch out the bourbon for whiskey, and add Cointreau. And there she is… I created “The New Fashion “ this experience was special. He could not believe how smooth and refreshing a few adjustments to the type of liquor could make his favorite drink. For my sister I made her The Perfect Margarita, no rim in a wine glass for a sipping experience 🌞. I am excited to add these two, to my Sips and Cigar Menu. Madame Pour, had her debut as the mixologist for Kim Reed’s “Optimist Always Win” visionary day party on Sunday. This was not your regular day party. She had speakers who presented on self-care, finance, and motivated all entrepreneurs to take ownership of their vision for 2025. In the room was Patty Jackson, Omar Tyree, and DJ Bent ROC all the way from New York; just to name a few. The event was well attended by all.
Your girl,Madame Pour, the female mixologist; read the room and knew the assignment. The set up included infused water, a specialty drink( “The Optimist”- a white wine sangria with coconut rum and peach schnapps), wine and champagne for all.
The presenters and vendors did not disappoint. Many of the guests hung around after the allotted event time to network, exchange contracts and collaborate on future opportunities. This free event has been Kim’s baby for the past 4 years. It’s her way of sharing her gifts and the gifts of like minds and talents with her community.
