Lou and Choo’s has always been more than a bar. It was family showing out on a Friday night, SEPTA crews pulling up after work, DJs turning the room into a memory, and neighbors becoming lifelong friends. A place where the stories on the walls came from the people in the room.

People keep asking if Lou and Choos is closed, and it makes me smile because if you walked through those doors even once in the past few months, you know better. We’re here. We’re alive. And we’ve been pouring real love back into this place!

If you haven’t stopped by in a while, come see what we’ve been rebuilding with the community. Grab a drink, bring a friend, or make a new one at the bar. The music is warm, the energy is familiar, and the spirit of this place is still exactly where you left it.

Our Night of Soul at Lou and Choos was nothing but pure joy. The music wrapped around the room, the food was hitting, the drinks flowed with that North Philly warmth, and everybody showed up ready to have a good time. It felt like a real celebration of community, laughter, and the kind of energy you can only find right here on Hunting Park.

Lou and Choos is pure fun from start to finish. Right here in North Philly, the music was alive, the energy was real, and everybody came ready to enjoy themselves. The food hit the spot, the drinks stayed cold, and the vibe felt like the kind of good times this neighborhood was built on.
