This week we’re introducing you to our girl Kelly! Kelly is a Virgo who grew up in Queens, New York but moved to East Stroudsburg, PA during high school. Kelly started working here in June 2026.

She just graduated from Penn and was a pre-med Neuroscience major. She’s currently in her gap years for med school and hopes to become a Pediatric Neurologist in the future! 👩‍⚕️🩺

In her free time she loves to travel, go to concerts, spend time with friends and explore new restaurants in Philly.

Favorite New Deck meal: Smash burger with sweet potato fries 😋
Favorite New Deck drink: Mango Margarita 🥭

When she’s not at New Deck she’s probably working at the hospital trying to get clinical hours for med school 🏥

Her favorite thing about New Deck is “definitely my coworkers! Everyone has been so awesome and welcoming, and I have loved getting to know everyone!”

Kelly’s generosity and diligence makes her a joy to have as a server. We love having you on the team Kelly! 💖

On September 30th, Derm Farrell, Barry Quinn & Christopher McClean are taking on a 3-day trek to the summit of Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa, to raise money for HairToStay.

It’s a cause close to their hearts, HairToStay helps cancer patients preserve their hair during chemotherapy through scalp cooling. ❤️

This week for Meet the Staff Monday, we’re meeting Karoline!

Karoline joined the New Deck team in the middle of May 2026. She’s a Capricorn who was born in New Jersey, but moved to Flourtown, PA and grew up there.

She’s currently a student at Drexel and studies Psychology with a minor in Criminology. For fun, she goes to the gym and likes to go out with her friends for dinners. 👯‍♀️🍽️

When she’s not serving tables at New Deck, she’s probably rowing for Drexel. 🚣‍♀️

Her favorite thing about working at New Deck is “the other employees who are all so hard working.” ❤️ “Having so much fun when I’m working any random day is the best ever!”

Karoline’s positive attitude and bubbly personality make her a joy to be around, for both her tables and her coworkers. Thank you for your diligence and chipper mood, Karoline! ☘️
