Happy Monday everyone! Today we’re meeting Maya!

Maya is from Lower Merion, PA. She joined the New Deck crew in August 2025, has the zodiac sign of Cancer, and is currently a senior in the music industry program at Drexel. ♋️🎶📚

In her free time she enjoys singing, going to the gym, and going to concerts!

Favorite New Deck meal: Chicken caesar wrap with sweet potato fries🌯
Favorite New Deck drink: Lemon drop🍋

When she’s not at New Deck, Maya’s probably in class, at a ca****la rehearsal, or working at a music venue!🎵

What’s her favorite thing about working at New Deck? “My coworkers! Everyone is so sweet and I love getting the chance to hang out with them.”

Maya’s diligence always shines through. Whether she’s behind the host stand or taking you to your table with a smile, we can always count on her to get the job done! Thanks for your hard work, Maya 🫶

Give a warm welcome to Andrew on this Meet the Staff Monday!

Andrew is from West Orange, New Jersey. He joined us at New Deck in August of this year. He graduated from Drexel this past June with a Bachelor’s in Political Science and is currently studying for his Master’s in Business Administration at Saint Joseph’s University! Woohoo! 📚📓

In his free time he enjoys working out, running, going to the movies, playing guitar, or even scuba diving! 🤿🎸

Favorite New Deck meal: Smashburger 🍔
Favorite New Deck drink: Shirley temple 🍒

When he’s not at New Deck, he’s probably rewatching Star Wars. Classic.

His favorite thing so far about working here? “The people, and chef Shawn’s loyalty to the Washington Commanders.” 🤣 It’s true, we all gotta respect Shawn’s love for the Commanders even if it kills us Eagles fans 🫡

So far, a memory at New Deck he looks back and laughs at is “when I spilled nearly half a keg of Modelo behind the bar.” Hey, we all spill a little b**r sometimes!

You’ll find Andrew at the door checking ID’s, moving tables around, or switching kegs out on a busy night. We’re so excited to have you on the team, Andrew! 🫶
