Meet the Fell to Earth Spritz.

Fell to Earth Pennsylvania Aperitivo, Prosecco and a splash of club soda. Pleasantly bitter, gently bubbly, built for a patio afternoon.

Fell to Earth is Philly’s first vermouthery, right up the road in East Falls. Longtime friends of ours, and our favorite local pour to build a spritz around.

Prefer to skip the alcohol? We’ve got an N/Aperol version, too 🍊

Sunday School is in session 🍷🧀

This week’s pairing: “La Peau de l’Ours,” a playful Chinon from Domaine de la Marinière in the Loire Valley. Named for the French idiom about selling the bear’s skin before you’ve caught the bear, this Cabernet Franc skips the overthinking with crunchy raspberry, fresh cherry, and violet.

Paired with Chällerhocker from Switzerland, a firm, butterscotchy alpine cheese with notes of almonds and sour cream, and a crystalline crunch to match.

Playful French red meets butterscotchy Swiss alpine. Class dismissed! See you Sunday 9/6 at Tria Rittenhouse 😏

We made our weekly honey pickup at the Rittenhouse Farmers Market. Our friends from A-Frame Apiary did not disappoint 🍯

This is 100% pure, raw, local wildflower honey, harvested just last week in Boyertown, PA, so it’s about as fresh as honey gets.

It’s bright and fruity this time around, a little different from the last batch, since the bees are always working something new.

Next time you’re at the farmer’s market, stop by and say hi to the A-Frame Apiary 👋 🐝

Sunday School: Vermont Red x Birchrun Hills Fat Cat 🍷

Vermont isn’t the first place you think of for wine. It should be.

This week: a hybrid red field blend from La Montañuela, made by first generation winegrower Camila Carrillo in the mountains of Perkinsville. Light, juicy, a little wild, built for a slight chill even in late August.

Paired with Birchrun Hills Farm’s Fat Cat. Soft, funky, grassy, the kind of cheese that argues cow’s milk deserves more respect.

Sunday School rules stand: if you try it, you buy it. No returns, no regrets. 😉

Let’s talk about the sandwich that’s become a Tria favorite. 🥪

Smoked chicken, Cabot cheddar, Niman Ranch bacon, tomato, arugula, and a truffle herb aioli that pulls it all together.

No expertise required, just curiosity.

Sunday School is in session 🍷🧀

This week’s pairing: “Sollùchero”, a field blend from Nevio Scala, the former football coach who led Parma to back to back UEFA Cup titles before coming home to farm organic vines in the Veneto. Aromatic and silky, with yellow peach, ripe citrus, and white flowers.

Paired with Honey Bell from Valley Milkhouse in Oley, PA, a bloomy cow’s milk cheese rolled in dried chamomile. Creamy, gentle, and floral, best with a drizzle of honey.

Championship winemaker meets local Pennsylvania cheese. Class dismissed! See you Sunday 8/23 at Tria Rittenhouse 😏

Oysters paired with something crisp, all summer long. 🦪🍷

This dynamic duo never gets old. Cold, briny oysters and a glass of something crisp just work, especially to beat the heat. ☀️

Our oysters come straight from our friends at Cape Harbor Seafood, who procure the best New Jersey has to offer. Let our team pour you a glass that will make them taste even better.
