Karaoke on Friday nights and a free shot on your birthday (ID required). South Philly neighbors, long-time locals, hipsters and tourists rub elbows at this 82 year old "everybody knows your name" neighborhood watering hole and bar. Located in the heart of South Philly and just a stone's throw away from the world famous Geno's and Pat's Steaks, Ray's "Happy Birthday" Bar welcomes tourists and locals alike. Cold b**r, flowing spirits, Sunday Bloody Mary's and assorted bar bites available. Weekly and monthly entertainment roster includes karaoke by DJ Lars, open mic nights, comedians, live bands and more. Photos of music legends, autographed pictures of the Sopranos, and collages of customers, friends and family adorn the wood paneled walls of this nostalgic place. At Ray's you can belly up to a bar that is an extremely rare relic. It is made out of oak and tile with a trough that runs along the base. Come in on your birthday and receive a free drink (ID required).
