Honored to be the first artist in the Wissahickon Brewing Company seasonal gallery series! Swing by Wissahickon’s East Falls taproom to check out the show and buy some art. All pieces on the wall (and lots of other merch) can be purchased at the bar, and we’ll soon have vinyl stickers available as well.

Reception details TBD but stay tuned for more details on that soon!

First, THANK YOU to all the incredible creatives who applied for our Artist Program. We were truly blown away and honored by the amazing and talented artists who want to show their work in our space.

Now, we’re excited to announce Mt. Airy-based artist Mario Zucca Illustration as our first artist in our East Falls location! Here’s what Mario has to say about his work:

“I’m a Mt. Airy-based artist, illustrator, and map-maker with over 20 years of experience creating original graphics for a wide range of clients, including the Phillies, Eagles, Comcast, and WHYY. My series of densely illustrated city maps has been turned into prints, jigsaw puzzles, and even murals, and my ongoing series of iconic Philly restaurants & bars, called Philly Eats, has been a local favorite.”

Mario is the perfect fit to kick off the program, especially as we head into prime Philly sports season. We’re excited to have someone who lives, breathes, and draws Philly. Enjoy his work starting this Friday, 9/4 🖼️

The Manayunk Bike Race is back! A local event that we’re super stoked about. On Saturday, August 30, thirty-two teams of cyclists from all around the world will compete in this historic competition. To all those brave souls competing… You've got a post-race b**r waiting for you at Wiss!

And for the normies (like us) who prefer to watch excellence while enjoying a cold one—we not only have a brewery up the road from the race, but we are HOSTING the race-day b**r garden right on the corner of Midvale and Kelly! The perfect location to sip and spectate.
