This is serious. Did you know women were banned from bartending in California? And from 1947 to 1971?!

Whoa.

May 27, 2026 marks 55 years of women being legally allowed to tend bars in California. So we’d like to send a shout out to all the hard-workin’ female bartenders out there; especially the fabulously joyful ones of Griffo.
