What’s in a name? Better yet, what’s in a barrel?

Before our Stout Barreled Whiskey even gets to be finished in a respective stout barrel (our latest via the talented folks at Mare Island Brewing Co. ) we craft the bourbon base with the same roasted malts used to create a stout beer. Part of why you get such roasty, toasty, chocolatey notes. Then of course that last barrel-finishing is the decadent icing on the cake🥃
