Just wanted everyone to know that my parents decided it was time to retire and close the doors to the cactus! Yes, it was very sudden with no notice for that they apologize! They've been in the bar and restaurant business since 1992 ( that's 26 years) meanwhile still working full time , running the family farm and raising a family and grandchildren. Along the way they've made some great friends which turned into family but most importantly they've missed out on so much along the way!! They were always open during holidays for the people who had no where to go, meantime they were missing holidays and family functions with their own family. So I'm sure there will be tons of rumors flying around but know this , my family always put the businesses first, never got a chance to take family vacations, always gave people in need of a job , sometimes a roof over their head , rides to and from work , let them use their vehicles and even doctors appointments! We've even spent holidays eating at the bar just so people who didn't have family had a place to go and eat! No more waking up early to do the books , no more coming over at 3 am to close , no more liquor runs , no more calls if the bar needed change at 12 am no more worrying if people got home safe, no more drama amongst customers or employees , just no more worries! People don't realize what comes along with running your own business and the sacrifices you have to make! However they'd like to thank everyone that has supported them for so many years and it's time for them to enjoy life with their family !
