Well what do you know, it's been almost 7 years since I started Go-T's. I can remember that day like it was yesterday. February 28th 2008. Man time flies when your having fun doesn't it. But owning a bar isn't always fun. Like any other business it has it's share of up's and down's but I wouldn't change a thing if had to do it over again tomorrow. OK maybe I'd change a few but I have enjoyed all the great times with the friends we have met, and the friendships we have developed with many of you. I was blessed with a wonderful group of ladies and gents that I called my staff, but today I call my family. Any one who owns their own business would be blessed, as I have been, to have this team on your side. Which brings me to my point. Even after all the wonderful times, fun parties and blessings I have received, it's time for me to move on to the next chapter in my life. Go-T's will close effective January 1st 2015. I didn't want to just close and miss the opportunity to see some of your smiling faces again so I thought I'd give you guys some advance notice and also to save the rumors from running rampant. There are many reasons behind my decision to close, but the one that matters the most to me is my family. There are many times in the last 7 years that I feel I have neglected my family due to business and that is something I am not going to feel anymore. I have my first grandson due any day now and look forward to spending time with him and not miss out on his learning years due to the bar. Everything will continue like normal until January 1st 2015, then my friends it's over for Go-T's. I want to thank each and every one of you for all the blessings, memories and especially for your continued support throughout these years. L.A. and I love and appreciate all of you. Without you guys there would be no memories to hold onto. December 31st 2014 will be a night that we all will never forget.....can you say PARTY!!!.
