Mack’s Story
Mack’s was inspired by Charlie McGonagle, a long time Peoria native and WWII veteran. After serving, he came home to Peoria to start a career and raise family. “Mac” as he was called, was a collector of things and had a large garage space filled with all sorts of collectibles.
Mack’s was designed to provide the same familiar feeling we have when we are inside of grandpa’s garage. When inside, you’ll notice a clean space that is modern and yet has an interesting collection of items that were locally sourced from Peoria. The overall intent is to provide a great place to relax, watch what is interesting on TV, and have a cold beer.
When you step into Mack’s, you will feel the coziness and will appreciate the attention to detail. Come down, get a cold beer, and relax.
