An Important Update Regarding Taste of Gulf Breeze
To our Taste of Gulf Breeze ticket holders, vendors, sponsors, and community,
First and foremost, we want to sincerely apologize.
Just a few days ago, we shared that Taste of Gulf Breeze would move forward as planned, and we know many of you were relieved and excited to hear that. Unfortunately, as circumstances have continued to evolve following the recent hurricane, we have been faced with challenges beyond our control that have ultimately led us to make the incredibly difficult decision to cancel this year’s event.
The safety and well-being of our vendors, attendees, volunteers, and the entire community remain our top priority. Given the ongoing challenges following the hurricane, we believe canceling this year’s event is the most responsible decision to help ensure everyone’s safety during this time.
We understand how frustrating and disappointing this news may be, especially after recently assuring everyone that the event was still on. We never wanted to put our community in this position, and we are truly sorry for the change in plans and any inconvenience it may cause.
This decision was not made lightly. Our team has spent months preparing for Taste of Gulf Breeze, and we were genuinely looking forward to bringing our community together for an evening of great food, local businesses, and fellowship. We know our vendors, sponsors, volunteers, and ticket holders have also invested their time, energy, and excitement into this event, which makes this decision all the more difficult.
However, the circumstances we are facing have made it necessary for us to put the well-being of our community and everyone involved first. As much as we wanted to make this event happen, sometimes situations change in ways we simply cannot control.
Regarding ticket refunds, all ticket purchases will be refunded. Online ticket purchases will be refunded to the original method of payment. For those who purchased tickets with cash at our Chamber office, we ask that you please stop by our office to pick up your refund.
We know an apology cannot erase the disappointment this announcement brings, but we want you to know how genuinely sorry we are. We are grateful for everyone who purchased a ticket, signed up as a vendor, sponsored the event, volunteered, or helped spread the word. Your support means so much to us, and we never take it for granted.
Our community has already experienced so much in the wake of this hurricane. While this is not the outcome any of us hoped for, we believe prioritizing our community is the right decision.
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support of the Gulf Breeze Area Chamber of Commerce. We are deeply sorry that we will not be able to gather with you for Taste of Gulf Breeze this year, and we hope you will give us the opportunity to bring our community together again in the future.
