Attendees will be welcomed by the charming and knowledgeable Naomi Smith, VP of Sales for Laurent-Perrier, who has a variety of luscious Champagnes to share. Highlights include the sumptuous Brut Rosé and the Grand Siecle No. 26, which was recently named James Suckling's #1 Wine of the Year 2023 on the strength of his glowing 100-point review.

We are honored to welcome Vega-Sicilia proprietor and CEO, Pablo Àlvarez, to Stave Wine cellars for an exclusive wine dinner.

Join us on Monday, October 23 for an evening of exceptional rarities from one of the world's top wineries, paired with a delectable menu prepared by Executive Sous Chef, David Duron.

Guests will enjoy a comprehensive selection of wines from the Vega-Sicilia estates, including: 2018 Macán Rioja, 2018 Pintia Toro, 2018 Alion Ribera del Duero, 2017 Valbuena, and 2012 Unico.

Additionally, two gems from Vega-Sicilia's Hungarian property, Oremus, will bookend the Spanish wine program.

Jeff's Weekly Wine-ing: Tannin is an acid found in organic plant material (such as tea, walnut shells and grape skins) that has a bitter taste. The more contact a wine has with grape skins and stems, the higher the tannin.
