We are sad to see our long time friends leave downtown but we know it’s not a goodbye but a see you later! Please go support them at their current location before they leave or stop by their new location this summer.
After announcing the closing of our Peabody location, we’ve been overwhelmed, in the best way possible, by the outpouring of love, support, and kind words from this community. It has meant more to us than we can properly put into words.
Because of that support, we’re grateful to share that we will remain open through Cinco de Mayo, and that day will be our final day of service. We hope to celebrate together one last time on Taco Tuesday Cinco, the same way we’ve shared so many great moments over the years.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire Peabody community for embracing us and supporting us. This city has truly been home.
A special thank you to our fellow local businesses who genuinely supported us through the years. Create an Escape, Pat Todisco at One Main Street Restaurant, Granite Coast Brewery, Maki Sushi, Sugar Cane Restaurant, Edex Provisions, and Olio Event Space. Your support, camaraderie, and shared passion for this city never went unnoticed.
We are also incredibly grateful to the city councilors who consistently showed up for small businesses and for the community: Wendy Lattof, Jon Turco, Julie Daigle, Anne Manning, Jaclyn Corriveau, and Stephanie Peach. Your support made a difference.
To the Peabody Police Department, Fire Department, and all of our friends across City Hall departments who became regulars at Nexmex—thank you for your loyalty, your conversations, and your presence over the years.
Mayor Ted Bettencourt, thank you for your genuine support through the years. I know this project was a necessary one to improve traffic, mitigate flooding and much more. Projects of this scale do come with unforeseen issues and fully understand the scope of this massive undertaking. Get er done!
We hold no hard feelings, only gratitude for the opportunity to have been part of this city.
No matter where the road takes us next, we are forever thankful for Peabody, for the memories, and for every single person who walked through our doors.
With gratitude, always. ❤️ The Nexmex Thing Emil Sepulveda
