Check out the Blues Dance Lessons happening at LindyGroove!

Blues - you love the music, you’re learning the dance basics... NOW WHAT?

If you want to dance to live blues in LA, you’ll want to join us for our February series: Applied Social Dancing. Cuz what is the point of learning a social dance if you don’t get out in the world and shake it with your friends every now and then??

Each week, we’ll be dancing to music from a local musician/band that’s got a show coming up. We’ll share tips for dancing to their specific brand of blues, and how to modify what you already know to fit the groove of wherever you’re at. You’ll get the deets on upcoming live music events and tons of cool moves that will make everyone in the joint go “wow, I wish I could dance like that.”

Class is every Thursday at 9pm (we start at 9:10), and are open to walk-ins (blues classes only!) OR you can sign up for the full month at LindyGroove.com/lessons/blues1

No partner required, and all genders and identities are welcome!

In-person blues dancing is happening this month at Lindygroove!!

*You must purchase a Lesson Series online, in advance to attend LindyGroove in July. No walk-ins. ID and vaccination card required. The Lesson Series includes the DJed Blues practice from 10pm to midnight in the side ballroom. This DJed Blues practice is not sold separately.

Class Format: Month-long progressive, starts the first Thursday of every month (July 2021 starts 1/8/21) Time & Place:  9:00pm - 9:50pm Thursdays in the side ballroom.

Miss social dancing? Me too!

The upside of our inability to dance together is that you may have a few extra dollars in your wallet to donate to the fabulous event happening this weekend: MOVE Together ~ Dancing Towards An Inclusive Community & Global Social Justice.

They are almost halfway to their fundraising goal, and with no less than three great charities, it would be a shame for them to fall short.
