GOODMORNING this building that was Black Bear will be going through a remodeling project soon, still working out details but thinking about a 2 bedroom 2 bath fully furnished apartment for daily, weekly and monthly rental. Also a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom yearly lease. Will update soon.

Tonight we said goodbye to the Black Bear, was incredible ride somewhat bittersweet but most proud of leaving on my terms. Equipment is all sold and I will keep this page going to let you know our plans, first plan is Florida. When we return in late March or early April we will start renovating bar/dinning room into apartments. I consider myself extremely lucky to have come to this area, over the years have meet so many new friends and people I now consider family. The last 6 weeks have been breathtaking with the outpouring of people's comments and well wishes. We are truly blessed and grateful. We hopefully we see all of you out and about in the Park Falls area in the years to come, already thinking a yearly cook out. Thanks so much Dan and Kathie.

It's hard to believe last night was the last fish fry here at the Black Bear, that could only mean tonight will be the last Prime Rib. Some available please call to confirm.

Its been great to see so many here in our last few weeks, to say incredible would be falling short. This Sunday November 10th will be our last serving food, so this weekend is it we r doing the Last Prime Rib still some available please call to reserve. The 13th, 14th and 15th will be finishing up inventory.

Hard to believe that just 2 weeks left before Black Bear grill is shut off, all equipment has been spoken for last meal will be served Sunday November 10th. Last day is November 15th hit and miss that week so please call drinking up inventory is my guess.

Sad time for area GREAT time for Dan and Kathie. On November 15th the Black Bear will close for the last time.
Its time to move on to the next chapter in life, traveling being a snowbird and semi retirement. We plan on staying in the area so we are not selling the building but selling all contents. So if there's something you want/like make offer. Lots of bears (lol) equipment, tables,chairs some inventory ect, call or pm me. Will update Thanks Dan and Kathie..
