Yesterday I had my 6th knee surgery. It went very well and I'm recuperating at my friend Kitty's house. Well the pain is really kicking in today... but day 2 is always the worst. The surgery was more extensive than they thought....knee cap broken into 3 parts and Both ligaments severed! I guess I had just gotten used to the pain in my knee... but couldn't put it off any longer. He was able to save the largest section and put a fake meniscus in and clean up all the bone fragments and sew up the ligaments. He said he couldn't even believe I was able to walk let alone the pain. Oh well I'm on the road to recovery now! Thanks for you all for support and encouragement. Last night (I think lol) that I spoke with my mom and she didn't let me get a word in edgewise except to tell her the surgery went well and that I was set at Kitty and Glen's recuperating.... thanks much kitty and glen!!!! I'm a little fuzzy about last night! I just wanted to keep you all up to date on surgery. I will be recuperating for 4-6 so call weeks anytime everyone!Thanks again! Barbara
