Understanding the VFW Post 3601: A Private Club Operated by Members

The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) is a member-driven organization. It is operated and governed by its members, the auxiliary, and dedicated staff who work together to uphold the values and mission of the VFW.

While we greatly value and appreciate the support of the public, it’s important to understand that the VFW is not a public bar. We are a private club, and any access provided to the public is a courtesy extended to foster community engagement and support.

We welcome guests to enjoy our facilities and events, but always within the context of being guests of a private, member-led organization. Your respect for these distinctions helps us continue our mission.
