Happy Birthday, Mae!

As many of you know, Mae has been with us through it all and continues to be a pillar in the Jecky family ❤️

From the 2019 open mics, helping us establish ourselves as an improved taproom post COVID, making the best beer mixes we've ever had, helping us write the biggest chapter of our book (Brewing) and recently establishing the first Jecky Pride event!

The care for this community, compassion for everyone they meet and continuous expression of creativity has helped impact every line in the fingerprint of this little bar 🫶🏼

Thank you for relentlessly pursuing a job at Dr. Jeckyll's Beer Lab, Mae! We wouldn't be the same without you!

Jecky is for everyone and celebrating Pride yesterday with our q***r community was so much fun!

Happy Juneteenth, Pantego! We love the diversity of our beer community and use this day as a reminder of the active pursuit of equality for black Americans. Smittox Brewing is having their grand opening today and if you have the ability you should go check out them out! The newest black-owned brewery on the NTX scene and this dude brews excellent beer!

"Whoa, why does it matter if it's a black owned brewery? Just say it's a new brewery!"

The brewing industry is largely dominated by white men and before you get triggered, being a white man is okay but we want more representation in our local businesses/beer community than that!

Marginalized communities are squeezed out of so many industries so we need to celebrate them and support them! Beer is about more than a six pack on a shelf to most of us. It's about who we are, where we came from and what stories we have to tell. If you can't make it out to Sam Smith today hopefully we'll be able to get some on tap for you to try!
