🏗️ Another milestone reached for Emerald Ember Cigar Lounge!

Our 50% Construction Document Set is complete, bringing us another major step closer to turning the Emerald Ember vision into reality.

The floor plan, life safety, interior elevations, and ceiling design have taken shape, while MEP and electrical engineering continue moving forward.

Next up: final coordination, permitting, and then construction.

There’s still work ahead, but every completed drawing, detail, and decision brings us closer to welcoming you through the doors.

🌿 Anatomy of a Premium Cigar — Part 1: The Filler

Every great cigar begins with what’s at its heart: the filler.

Premium cigar filler is carefully blended using to***co leaves selected for the characteristics they bring to the finished cigar. Depending on the to***co and producer, different primings can contribute different qualities:

🔥 Ligero — typically upper primings; often contributes strength, body, and slower-burning characteristics.
🌿 Viso — generally middle-to-upper primings; can provide a balance of flavor, strength, and combustion.
🍂 Seco — generally middle-to-lower primings; often valued for aroma, flavor, and combustion.
💨 Volado — lower primings; commonly valued for their excellent burning qualities.

But those leaves don’t go straight from the field into a cigar. They undergo a lengthy process of curing, fermentation, aging, sorting, conditioning, and selection before they’re ready to be combined into a bunch and wrapped with the binder.

The filler isn’t simply what’s inside the cigar—it’s the foundation of the blend.

Short-filler ci**rs use smaller pieces of to***co leaf. They can offer an enjoyable experience too, but they’re constructed differently and are generally less expensive to produce.

Neither term describes a specific to***co variety—it describes how the filler to***co is prepared and used in the cigar’s construction.
