I would like to thank the Consulate General of Barbados at Miami and the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc for kicking off Florida’s celebrations for Barbados’ 60th year of Independence in Palm Bay. BCASCA is honored to have served as the host for the day. We welcomed the Mayor of Palm Bay, Rob Medina and his lovely wife, Councilman Kenny Johnson and his family and Councilman Mike Jaffe. Councilman Johnson read a Proclamation on behalf of the City. The entertainment was top notch, featuring Deejay Zenergi, Archie Killer Miller, the Panatics, Steel Pan Ensemble and Wayne Bynoe as MC. Also thanking all the persons who traveled from Georgia and all parts of Florida. Last but not least the vendors we kept us fed and hydrated. THANK YOU ALL!!!

You never know when, where, who or what. That is why it is imperative that you always strive to be the very best. BCASCA Board Member, Courtney Morris, formulated a plan and has been presenting the product every Sunday afternoon at the Cricket Pavilion in Fred Poppe Park. Well seasoned Jerk Chicken and Jerk Pork. This past Sunday I spoke to a young lady that was picking up multiple orders. I asked if she was from the Caribbean and she responded that she is Sudanese and that “this is the best Jerk in Palm Bay. “ See you Sunday afternoon. after 2 pm to taste “THE BEST JERK IN PALM BAY .”
