We don’t close often and we don’t take it lightly but I had to quarantine yesterday with a strand of the flu and in Jon’s efforts to take care of me last night he woke up this morning symptomatic. While we have an amazing team at Darlene’s we are so small that when Jon and I both cannot work we simply cannot open.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding in this matter. Be safe out there. See you on Tuesday.

I will not be serving at the restaurant today as I came down with an upper respiratory infection that started last night. Unfortunately, that also means we will not have soup or ice cream today. We’re erring on the side of extreme caution and keeping me out of the kitchen until I can get in to see the doctor a little later today.
