The Greater Cleveland Police Memorial Parade and Service was held May 9th - 16th, 2026. Hundreds of law enforcement officers from the local area, surrounding states and even international came together on Friday morning on Lakeside Avenue to honor fallen officers. The parade ended at the Greater Cleveland Police Officer Memorial across from the Justice Center. This year 4 names were honored for individuals who died in the line of duty serving their communities! May they all Rest In Peace.

Elks Lodge #549 is super proud that the flag they carried was an Elk flag!!! 🇺🇸 🚨

Please join us for our April 23rd Painesville Elks #549 Member Meeting as we formally kick off our new Exalted Ruler's term. Besides going over Lodge business, ER Charlie Johnson will also go through our formal orientation and initiation ceremony to welcome many new members joining us.

Passing on results of our April 12th Elks #549 Blood Drive to support the Red Cross! As is reported below, you can make a huge difference to others by donating a pint of your blood!

Our next blood drive is July 5th at 9 am at our Painesville Elks Lodge #549. Please come join us to help others!

Thank you once again for hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive! I hope all went well and please feel free to share any feedback.



Your efforts made it possible for the American Red Cross to make available 24 units of blood for needed patient care. You inspired 24 people to donate blood in response to our drive goal of 18 units. A single blood donation can help save more than one life, so your efforts could impact more than 24 lives! I hope that everyone involved in this drive will appreciate this news and we hope that you share this with your group.
