Hey! Farmer's Market at Tractor Supply on 372 on Sat. 4/11 from 0830 to 1200. That's morning for you non-military types. In addition to my Jams and Jellies, I'll have Gluten free peanut butter chocolate chip cookies. Molasses Spice Cookies, Cowboy Cookies, Cinnamon Bread and an 8' x 8'pan of Lemon bars that you can cut into whatever size you like. Lots of other vendors will be there also. Come on down and have a look around.

Sat. June 14th, Pahrump Farmers' Market at Tractor Supply on 372. From 0730 to 1100. Produce including tomatoes and herbs, eggs, hand crafted soaps, baked goods, hand made toys, doggy treats, hand made jewelry, Jellies and Jams.
I'm bringing new flavors of Jalapeno Jelly and Jams. Blueberry, Pineapple, Pomegranate Jalapeno Jelly, Merlot Jalapeno Wine Jelly, Pineapple Jalapeno Jam and Strawberry Jalapeno Jam. Not just for toast. Pancakes and waffles, hot buttered English muffins, use them to make smoothies or just mix them into ice creams. Use em to baste BBQ or meat in a slow cooker.
So come on down. Only 7 jars of each first come, first serve.

Head on out to the Farmer's Market this weekend 5/10/25 starting at 0730. Many vendors, veggies, baked goods, hand made soaps. Many hand made items. In fact everything for sale at the marker is hand made. I'll have one orange upside down cake, millionaire short bread, cookies and my jams and jellies. So stop in and say hi.

Hey, Farmer's Market at Tractor Supply 10/26/24 starting at 0830 until 1200. I made Mango Jalapeno, Peach Jalapeno and peach mango jalapeno jams. Lotsa vendors now. Baked goods, veggies, crafts and even CBD. Head on down and take a look.

Not quite what I expected, I thought the Peach Jalapeno would get a ribbon, but still quite happy with the results. Cherry Almond jelly and Toffee Mint Chip cookies took a 1st place. Blueberry Pomegranate merlot wine jelly took a second. Gluten free peanut butter and Pineapple Butterscotch Jam took 3rd and I gotta Honorable mention on my Kosher Dill Pickles. (Last year they took 1st place) All in all not too shabby.

I went to MacDonalds today for the 1st time in, oh I don't know, 4 or 5 years. So I was surprised and a little confused when I didn't see anyone at the counter to take my order, or even a counter! The helpful people there showed me where to place my order and I dutifully became an employee and took my order. It wasn't too hard but I did need some help to complete it. I took my receipt and waited and a few minutes later they gave me my food. I had ordered 2 plain hamburgers, medium fries, and a vanilla milk shake, a filet of fish and a filet of fish meal with large fries and a hawaiian punch. I got one large coke and a bag with a small fry and a chicken sandwich. I put that on the counter and told the lady that this wasn't my order and she quickly realized that I was right. A few minutes later she handed me my order with an apology and I thanked her and left. When I got home and started dishing out our meal is when I realized that the burgers were so much smaller then I remembered them being. I didn't think they could have gotten any smaller but there they were. Probably half the size I remember, even the buns were smaller. And the burger? It's about an 1/8 inch thick. Probably doesn't take more then a half minute on each side to be fully cooked. So much for the burger. I was ready to have my filet of fish. It's my favorite sandwich and I couldn't wait to enjoy it. Needless to say I didn't enjoy it. It was much smaller also and thinner too. No longer a tasty, juicy fish sandwich. If it wasn't for the tartar sauce I would have had to drink my watered down punch with each bite. Like I said, it's been 4 or 5 years since I had a MacDonalds and it's gonna be another 4 or 5 years til I pay another visit, if I do. Junk food used to be so good. Now? Barely edible. Almost forgot that cost me almost $30.
