Chadeoke returns to Lago Vista this Tuesday night, and if Ozawkie has proven anything, it's that this town knows how to put on a show.

Come hear local legends like Elaka and Drana roar on the mic, cheer on your friends, or grab a song and join the fun yourself. From first-timers to crowd favorites, every karaoke night brings something memorable.

We're now serving breakfast every Sunday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lago Vista Grill.

This morning's lineup includes:

🥪 Southern Monte Cristo – our signature twist on a classic
🍳 Breakfast Skillet – hearty, hot, and built to start your day right
🌯 Breakfast Burritos – loaded with eggs, potatoes, meat, cheese, and salsa
🥞 All-American Breakfast – pancakes, eggs, and bacon done the way breakfast should be

And for today only, my son Michael is back in town and behind the line, turning out some beautiful French omelettes while supplies last.

🤠 THERE'S A NEW SHERIFF IN TOWN 🤠

This Monday morning, Ozawkie's own Tim Bacon will be sworn in as the new Sheriff of Jefferson County.

For us, this one feels a little more personal.

Tim has been a neighbor, a supporter of Lago Vista, and a friend to our community since the day we opened our doors nearly eight years ago. We've been proud to support him along the way, and we're honored to host a breakfast reception following the swearing-in ceremony.

Join us Monday morning as we celebrate this milestone and the man stepping up to help protect the place we call home.

Lake life doesn’t end when the boat hits the dock.

Wind down your Saturday with us at Lago Vista. Grab a cold brew or one of our house margaritas, settle into the patio, and enjoy live music from Bryan Knowles as the sun starts dropping over Perry Lake.

TACO TUESDAY is back at Lago Vista 🌮🎤

Chadeoke is rolling back onto the pontoon stage for another night of karaoke, lake vibes, and the kind of local chaos that somehow turns into a good memory every single time.

We’ll have:
🍹 $6 Margaritas
🌮 Taco specials
🎶 Local singers, first-timers, shower superstars, and maybe that one guy who thinks he’s George Strait after two margs

Honestly, it’s become less of a karaoke night and more of a little community gathering with tacos and a soundtrack.

Karaoke kicks off at 6pm and rolls till 9pm.

Some of the best things on our menu don’t come from a truck. They come from dirt, sunshine, and people who care enough to grow something.

I’ve always believed good food and drinks start with fresh ingredients. Korbe loves getting her hands in the dirt and growing things. So naturally, the two of us decided to turn part of the patio into a little herb garden we could actually use here at Lago. 🌱

Now fresh mint from these grow boxes is already making its way into drinks like our Watermelon Whiskey Smash, and honestly… you can taste the difference.

Big shout out to Stonehouse Gardens in Oskaloosa for helping us get started. We made the Memorial Day run out there and caught their BOGO 50% off plant sale, which may or may not have turned into “let’s buy way more plants than we planned.”

This is the kind of thing we love about small towns. Local businesses feeding local businesses. Fresh herbs grown steps away from the patio bar. Building something with your own hands and sharing it with the community.

Memorial Day at the lake just hits different.

This Monday we’re firing up the grills early and rolling out a special Lago Vista breakfast starting at 8am. Whether you’re heading out on the water, recovering from a long weekend, or just looking for an excuse to sit on the patio a little longer, we’ve got breakfast covered.

We’ll be serving up:
• Breakfast Burritos
• Breakfast Skillets
• Our new Southern Monte Cristo with jalapeño bourbon jelly
• And a few more breakfast favorites we’ve been working on behind the scenes

Mimosas on deck. The patio will be alive. The lake crowd will be moving. And if the weather keeps cooperating, Monday is shaping up to feel like summer officially showed up.

Bring the family. Bring the crew from the campsite. Bring the friend that’s “not hungry” and steals half your fries anyway.

The lake is waking up, the sun is out, and the Watermelon Whiskey Smash has officially entered the summer rotation at Lago Vista.

Fresh watermelon, smooth whiskey, lime, and just enough attitude to make you forget what day it is.

This one makes an entrance.

Our Cheesecake Turtle starts with creamy cheesecake mousse tucked into a crispy fried tortilla bowl, loaded with masserated strawberries, almonds, and finished with chocolate and caramel drizzle.

Sweet. Crunchy. Cold. Sticky. Slightly dangerous.

Basically summer at the lake on a dessert plate.

Come grab one before somebody at your table “just wants a bite” and suddenly it disappears.
