🀄 Mahjong is coming to The Vineyard! 🍷

We’re excited to welcome Flourish Mahjong’s Fall Fun League to The Vineyard Market this fall!

Over the course of six sessions, league members will gather for organized Mahjong play, friendly competition, prizes, and plenty of fun. And of course, you can enjoy a little wine and something delicious while you play!

Fall Fun League Sessions:

🀄 November 4
🀄 November 18

💰 $150 for all 6 sessions

Important: This league is organized and registered through Flourish Mahjong. Registration was required by Sunday, September 6th. This is a league members-only event, and individual sessions are not available for drop-in registration.

You know the name. You may even have a favorite Oliva. But how much do you know about the family behind the ci**rs?

Here are 3 fun pieces of Oliva history worth knowing:

📜 1. It all started in Cuba in 1886.
In 1886, Melanio Oliva planted his first to***co crop in Pinar del Río, Cuba. His growing operations were interrupted when he left the farm to fight in the Cuban War of Independence. After the war, he returned to his to***co fields and started growing again. 🌱⚔️

👨‍🌾 2. The Oliva family has been growing to***co for generations.
In the early 1920s, Melanio’s son Facundo took over the family’s growing operations and continued cultivating to***co for decades. The family’s knowledge of the leaf was passed down from one generation to the next. 🌿

🌎 3. Nicaragua wasn’t the first stop.
When Cuba’s to***co landscape changed, Gilberto Oliva went searching for the right conditions to recreate that distinctive Cuban taste. His travels took him through Honduras, Panama, Mexico, and even the Philippines before he finally found the fertile ground he was looking for in Nicaragua.
