Many of you may remember this little runt riding around in my hood several years ago.

Since it has been 3 weeks since this started it is considered emergent & VCA would like to get tests done ASAP Waggle doesn’t charge the fees that GoFundMe charges & will pay all donations directly to the vet with nothing directly to me. VCA has quoted almost $7,000 in testing alone but Waggle only allows $2,000. We appreciate any donations!

(Excuse my messy story. 3 weeks of not much sleep is showing.)

Our Coca Cola vending machine and old pay phone on the front porch of the store are not toys nor are they there to be beat on when you are having issues. Beating on the machine(s) will not give you the result you are hoping for but it will get a reaction from us that you will not like. If you are having issues with the machine then call the number on the machine or leave a message on the store answering machine and we will handle the issue accordingly.

Kindergarten Round Up will be April 28th by appointment. Please call 812-825-5623 ext 1003 to set up an appointment. Required documentation is birth certificate, immunization record, proof of residency (utility bill), and custody papers if applicable. Students must be 5 years old by August 1, 2023.

Any vehicles that are parked in our parking lot, in front of the building, beside the building, or any vehicles that are parked in front of the old Holtsclaw’s store belong to somebody and they are private property. Those vehicles shouldn’t be bothered by anyone for any reason. If there are children unattended playing around on vehicles that do not belong to their families then they will be given a warning to stop what they’re doing and their parent(s) or guardian(s) will be contacted. If any damage is done due to unattended children (or any other person) then they, or their parents will be held responsible for said damages and will be expected to pay.

This also includes messing with anything on the buildings as well. Trash should never be thrown down regardless but there is a trash can on the front porch of our store. The other building is not a store but it is also not a place for people to hang around, staring into windows, kids painting on the building, etc. We have to replace a pipe that was broken off because people were in a place where they do not belong.

All we ask is that people have the courtesy and respect to leave our business and other things alone.

People still continue to ask if we are planning to reopen the store. We absolutely will be opening the store BUT we will have some changes in several things going forward. Those things will be mentioned later on. As of right now, I am doing what I can to clean out old products, which then will need to be restocked, defrosting freezers, cleaning out coolers to be able to restock, & then some repairs on different items. With that being said, we do not have a set date for reopening just yet. I will continue to update as I figure things out.

As I am going through & cleaning out old food items, I will be throwing into bags. I know there are quite a few people around here who have chickens so I am giving people the opportunity to take any of the food items to use for chicken (or pig) food if you would like to have any of it. Im not charging for it but if you want the food items, you will need to haul it & it’ll be on a first come, first serve basis so that it isn’t sitting inside thawing or drawing mice/bugs or sitting outside attracting animals/bugs.

Those of you who are interested, let me know & I will keep a list of names for when that time comes.
