This year’s Cigar Batch #4 takes the finishing program even further, incorporating whiskey finished in Armagnac, Cognac, Rum, Tawny Port, and Sherry casks — with Sherry casks appearing in Cigar Batch for the first time.

Together, these finishing casks bring layers of rich fruit, warm spice, oak, and depth, while still keeping the bourbon itself front and center.

The blend is built from mature Kentucky and Indiana bourbons featuring multiple mash bills, each selected to contribute its own combination of body, rye spice, fruit, oak, and texture.

Before the event even started, I thanked everyone for already making it a huge success. At the time, I said we had sold around 130 bottles of the three Bardstown Bourbon Company limited releases.

Well… turns out I was a little off on the numbers. 😂

Between the pre-sale and the event, you all purchased 164 BOTTLES across the three limited Bardstown releases! 🤯🔥

It’s safe to say we broke the record for the most bottles of all three releases sold by a single store in Kentucky!

One of my biggest goals with Barrel Heads has always been to show the big brands that a small, independently owned liquor store can put on BIG events — because we have some of the BEST customers around.

And once again, you proved it.

Whether you bought a bottle, traveled in for the event, came out for the tasting, participated in the lottery, brought a friend, or simply continue to support Barrel Heads — THANK YOU!
